SMART Modular Technologies’ DDR5 VLP RDIMM. The 32GB VLP RDIMM is targeted for embedded 1U blade compute and storage applications, enterprise networking and telecom applications, and industrial single board computers (SBCs). Its main attributes are VLP height, high density for a VLP module, and high DDR5-4800 performance.

SMART’s DDR5 32GB VLP RDIMM is the industry’s first DDR5 VLP RDIMM form factor. VLP RDIMMs are typically used for applications with space constraints and require more stability than other applications. The space savings also leads to improved heat dissipation and energy savings, reducing business costs. For ruggedized and harsh operating conditions, SMART offers retention clips to secure the socket latches in place and industrial grade temperature operation (-40°C to +85°C).

The 32GB VLP RDIMM is the newest product added to SMART’s wide portfolio of VLP and ULP (Ultra Low Profile) modules that target all type of very dense computing, storage, networking and telecom applications.
