SMART's DuraMemory™ NVDIMM combines nonvolatile memory with DRAM memory. NVDIMMs are used for logging and caching functions to accelerate system performance in server and storage applications. SMART’s DDR4 NVDIMM feature SafeStor™ technology which initiates backup and restore operations upon command from the host controller. NVDIMMs support multiple command delivery options to trigger a backup during a host detected power outage and recovery events.
