SMART has worked closely with Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. to build an assortment of DDR DIMMs for AMD's system-level validation process. In addition, SMART is conducting device and DDR DIMM validation testing for ServerWorks and Via Technologies. This program was established to demonstrate that tested devices and DIMMs, which pass the validation process, comply with JEDEC specifications. The DDR validation program provides key benchmark testing and ensures DRAM-to-chipset compatibility. SMART lends confidence that modules passing certain tests comply with critical DDR SDRAM specifications.
